For this week of Scratch Camp, we're making music! Jazz is one of my favourite genres of music. Specifically I really enjoy piano jazz, from artists like (followed by two songs that I like from each): Dave Brubeck - Sweet Cleo Brown; They Say It's Wonderful Michael Kaeshammer - Stomp; Cadenza Jonny May - Maple Leaf Rag; Main Title Theme (From "Game of Thrones")
Nefertiti Blues was written by Christopher Norton. His songs are commonly used in piano repertoire for students up here in Canada, as a jazz selection. I grabbed the sprites from the sprite library. I'd love to see some remixes of this project with different percussion rhythms! I've included a list, 'beats', with the timestamps of the measures in the song. See the scripting of the drum sprite for an example of how to use the list. yes I messed up a couple times and I had to edit one spot to make the rhythm work _P:_
