The object of the game is to get as many points as possible. You start the game with three lives, every time the frog collides with an object, you lose a life. When the frog crosses to the other side of the street and river, you get 10 points and the frog re-sets to the it's original position. If you catch a fly it's worth 2 points.
This is all original work, built from the ground up, although I got the idea from some game I saw, probably on an education games website. All sprites are clipart images from the Web. I had a lot of fun doing this. I found that it's easy to get really obsessive about little details and I ended up spending way more time than I should have to do things like make the frog dance and have the turtles not swim in a straight line. There is a little glitch in the way the frog dies under a very specific circumstance, see if you can find it.
