This was designed to introduce the beginning concepts of trigonometry to students. Press the green flag to start. Change the lengths of sides AC and AB (they are always the same) and angle A by using sliders. The side BC and angles B and C are automatically calculated. Angle measures are in degrees. Use the black boxes to cover up information so that, when teaching, you can set up a problem and then ask students to find the hidden dimension. To more precisely set the lengths of side "AC" or angle "A", press the "C" or "A" key (respectively) on your keyboard, then type in the measurement and press "enter".
