INFORMATION: "Hello there. My name is Rust. I'm a senior of this gang." A dark red tom with orange speckles and orange eyes walked up to you, the skin under his eyes drooping from old age. "Let me explain to you how our gang works." He sat down, wrapping his thin tail around you. "I should start with the ranks. There's the leader. They run this gang and make the rules. Below them is the successor. They put cats in patrols and sends them to patrol the territory or hunt. At the same ranking respect as the successor is the mid ranks. They are the ones who hunt and patrol, and make up the majority of this gang. Those kiddos will also teach the immatures how to protect and help the gang. Some mid ranks decide to have kits, and end up in the mother rank. The mothers are not cherished and praised like they are in other groups, but pitied and looked down on. Why? Because then they can't do their duty of fending for the gang, we can recruit city cats, we don't need to have a cat be fed when they aren't helping catch more prey. Once they reach a certain age you become a senior, like me, and they are the elders of the group. We are still required to hunt and fight for as long as we can, and some of us get a special permission from the leader to be able to not have to do those things. I'm the oldest senior here, and I've been excised from duties for a long time now. Did I miss something? I feel like I missed something... Oh! Right! The children and immatures! The children are the kittens, they are considered children until they are 5 months old, then they become a immature, where they train to become a member of the gang. In order to become a fully respected member of the gang, you have to go through The Passing. The Passing is a test where you take on a partner and get released into the testing area, which is an abandoned and crumbling building that the humans once called a hospital. You're required to survive there for one week, and you're not allowed to leave the hospital. If you do, then you fail The Passing and you get sent back to train for another 4 months and you get a nice scar on your flank to mark that you failed The Passing, and if you fail The Passing multiple times, you'll have multiple scars to show your failure. One last thing, there is no healer, no doctor, no one to fend for your wounds. You are taught how to heal yourself in your training. Also, follow the rules of the gang. If you don't, you will be punished, and I'll let Breeze explain the punishments." Rust sends you off to the leader, breeze, who is a massive and muscular white molly with silver paws and a black tail tip and green eyes. "Welcome. I see you have met my father, Rust." The large cat's tail swept across the ground, as she looked into your eyes, intimidating you, and whispered "The codeword is none", then blinked. "So, you want to know the punishments? Huh. Well, there are four levels of punishment, strike, scar, exile, and death. A strike is the lowest level. You can only get 5 strikes until you are exiled from the gang. When you get a strike you get a nick in your ear. The scar level is worse then strike, which is when you get a special shaped scar on your shoulder, in the shape of an X. If you get three, then you get exiled. Exile is almost the worse, which is when you get kicked from the gang. When You get exiled, you get a large scar across your nose to show you were exiled. And finally, the worse. Death. If the crime against the gang you have commited is to bad for a strike, scar or exile, then you will be killed, simple as that. The same punishments apply to cats of all ages, even the children. And if the mother tries to object with the punishment of her child then she to will be punished on the same level as the child was punished. It's no different for the immatures and their mentors. Yes, the rules and punishments might be strict, but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do to keep a gang in order and prevent them from going out of control. GANG RULES 1 Listen and do as the leader says. Level 2 punishment 2 Do not claim to be of a higher rank. Level 1 punishment 3 Do not seek help from outsiders.
