Transcript: Hey, this is sort of a voice reveal, and I also just wanted to do a quick rant project, since this is kind of a hot topic. So, feminism. The movement for women's rights. I definitely believe that the old waves were very important, but nowadays...well, just search up feminism on Tumblr and you'll get an idea of what many of today's feminists are like. Some argue that these feminists are a vocal minority, and the majority of feminists aren't like this, and I see what these people are saying, but I have to disagree. The radical feminists seem to be the main voice of the feminist movement today, and I don't consider myself a feminist anymore, because of the negative connotation of the word. [I didn't script this line so there are some awkward pauses, sorry] Many feminists are only feminists are only man-haters, and don't advocate for equality. Now, it's fine if you consider yourself a feminist, but personally, I prefer not to call myself one. Instead, I consider myself an egalitarian, I believe that males and females are equal, neither sex is better than the other. Also, I recorded this late at night so that's part of why my voice sounds weird Just a quick rant thingy.
