Big thanks to @marshmallowmuffins for curating! I really appreciate it! Curated on 10/1, 30 days before halloween @psm2017BFF for alternative eyebrows in-project [clears throat] Excuse me, I need to release my stress because this was so hard to make due to my laziness- AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Okay, with that out of the way, this took 3 hours to make (or 2, I didn't really look at the clock much) I hope you enjoy it. :) NOTE; You can backpack the costume for your own uses, but I would very much like it if you would credit me when you use it in one of your projects. TIPS; If you want to make a vector realistic eye on your own, the trick is to understand the structure of the eye. The eyeball is a sphere, so instead of just colouring it plain white, you could put some grey gradients in the corners (shadows), as in the project. The eyelids cast slight shadows on the eyeball, too. I know, I know; I messed up. I forgot the shadows the eye lashes cast on the eyeball. I'm sorry. :P The iris, specially if you want to use lighter colours, are tricky. The colours vary in places. I did a very poor job of it. While a larger pupil does make it seem cuter, in reality, it's relatively small. Children have a larger pupil-to-eye ratio than adults. Eyelashes are also very hard to get right. Make it curl at the roots, and allow some overlapping. The bottom eyelashes, especially, overlap often. One "mistake" (put in quotes because there are no real mistakes in art) I see often is some people drawing thick, few eyelashes, or drawing too many. Of course, if the eye you want to draw has makeup on it, the eyelashes may need to be drawn like that, but otherwise if you want to have a natural look, You'll have to find a good balance between amount and thickness. I don't think the eyelashes I did in the project were the best tho xP Lastly, I want to note that when the eye reflects light, the place where the light shows up most IS NOT the only place where the light shows up. The place OPPOSITE is also a bit light. (This may not be always true, but it makes the eye seem a bit livelier.) Music; Silence, made by me All art by me, made in Scratch Vector Editor. .
