My four year-old sister LOVES unicorns and dark pink and green and "tarquoys" (it's how she pronounces it, but it's actually turquoise!), so I decided to make this project due to her obsession with unicorns! She chose the background and collar colors and the name "Starlets" herself (read in the N&Cs to find out why her name is 'Starlets'!). Anyways, I thought this would be a good chance for her dream to come true! I remember asking her in car rides ever since she was two what her favorite animal was, and she'd say unicorn <3 Now, of course, she's changed, but she still loves unicorns. I told her that this was like Amazon.com, where our mother purchases stuff. We had to "order" our unicorn and give it a name, collar, and background so that it will get "shipped" to us in a cage with a fancy color of the same colors and her name engraved and painted into it, and a bed the colors of the background. She loved the idea!
- My four year-old sister is very creative with names. It started out with Starlight, then Starlets, then Scarlet/Scarlets, and finally, back to Starlets! My four year-old sister came up with the thumbnail, along with a little of my help. (scroll below) The unicorn's original name was Leif.
