Hey guys! I just want to say,, 400+ followers.. It means so much to me that all the amazing people out there would follow a wanna-be artist like me. Thank you so much <33 A few shout outs for some of my followers/very close friends. Don't be sad if I didn't put you here please ;w; @Ask_Patchclaw and @55fingers, my sisters, who pretty much taught me to draw, and also helped a lot with this project's coding and ideas. @Snurty, a wonderful person who, even through depression, manages to draw like a professional. @Tofugrl14, an amazing singer and an even better friend, who went through so much and made her way to being happy in the end. @Catlover311, a great friend who always would put others' needs before hers and was always so kind. @Stormfeather2468, even though she is banned, she was a great PoP leader and could always see both sides of fights, and always supported me. EDIT: She's unbanned! YES! @FloraFauna_SS, even though we tend to argue a lot, I really believe you are an awesome, very active, and wonderful person and PoP leader. You have a strong spirit and will fight for what you think is right. @Soft_Dreams and NoodleUnicorn123, you're really fun and sweet to talk to and you support me when I feel down. I couldn't ask for better friends than you guys. @FancyFawn-, you're really kind and sweet, and even through a bad sickness you were still really nice and supportive. Thank you for making me feel better while you were trying to get better. And finally, @FeatheredDreams. Drea, you've supported me more times than I can remember. Every time I fall you help me back up. Thank you so much for being the kind person you are. And everyone else, I have to thank you all for supporting me when I felt like I couldn't do anything. I have met a ton of you now, but I met most of my closest friends through PoP. Feather, Storm, Flora, Fawn, Noodle, Lamp, Jlhw, and every single Palace of Points member. I met them all through it. I'm so glad I found it <3 N o w r u l e s Rules: Use your own art. Don't get mad if you don't win. I can't stop you from being upset, trust me I know, but don't come to me with tons of hate please :')) You can enter for all of them, but you can only win one. If I can't choose between two people's entries, you have two options; Share the character, or I'll make one of you a similar design and the other person gets the original design. Be kind to others, don't be insulting their art. And know if you insult your own art, I'll beat you up with friendship >:) Please stay on palette! Once the DTA is over, if you won the character, THEN you can change the design. Yes, you are allowed to change the species, but I'd prefer if you didn't until after the DTA ends. Duedate is September 30th! If not, duedate is when each character has at least three completed entries. (Reminding contestants now!) If you haven't finished your entry, you are allowed to ask for three extra days to work on it. I'll know if you read the rules or not, so no codeword, mkay? Tips: It is suggested you draw a background or choose an aesthetic that matches the character for the backdrop. Upload your own music! Try to pick something that fits your character. Write a BIO! I am one to (usually) notice detail, especially with characters. I am one to prefer tragedy in my story, while keeping it an even amount of original-cliche. Animate! The best DTAE I've ever done had PMV-AMV in it, which took me a month altogether to complete. (I get on the computer only every three days-) Shade and illuminate! In my DTAE I put a lot of detail especially into the background, as it is easier if you're animating. In fact, people tell me I'm really good at backgrounds, and I think I'm better at drawing them than drawing my characters! So try to put a lot of work into the background if you're animating, but if not, trying to even it out between character and backdrop! <3 Use another program! I use FireAlpaca for all my art, and most famous scratchers do too! It's a free drawing program for computers, and once you learn to use it, you can add effects of all sorts like a pro.
