ITS JULY 18, YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS! well, actually, no, you probably don't, unless you're absolutely truly Broadway garbage, like I am. On July 18, 1899, in Manhattan, a group of newsboys went on strike in protest of the raising of newspaper prices for initial purchase but not the price of resale. The Newsboy Strike of 1899 was one of the few strikes during the Gilded Age that was actually very successful, and paved the way for child labor reforms. Its also the basis for the cult classic movie and its hit Broadway musical adaption, Newsies. Anyways, since its Strike Day, I figured it would be the perfect time to share the completed Santa Fe MAP! Anyways, thank you for watching, and please go follow all the amazing animators that helped make this map! PLEASE NOTE: There are a few filler parts. This map has been open for nearly a year, and its been a pain to get all the parts in, and I've had the set release date of July 18 for a while. I'll add in the completed parts as my animators get them in, but for now you get that lovely PART PENDING screen. There is still like one part open (a last minute drop out), here's the open MAP if you're interested https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/173937219/ *crazed nerd whispering* y'all should seriously watch newsies tho theres a proshot on netflix its rllyy good *crawls back into hole of unhealthy obsession* gO aNd LoOk It Up ThE pOoR gUyS hEaD iS sPiNnInG if you read all this, thank you, comment "Solid decision on the jeggings by the way"
