A cheap laptop does exist, except it was designed years ago for the same purpose. This is a better version of that laptop, designed so that children all around the world can use Scratch. This project was created so show that there are people who do not have a computer, like most Scratchers, not to debate the costs of putting this on the market. Please do not comment about costs!!!
