Personality: Soft, Funny, Loud, Welcoming, Friendly, careful Status: Mate is Akane Family: Midnight (mother), Neon (sister) Backstory (prepare for a long one!): I carefully set my paw down on the wooden stage. A huge black thing, known as a camera, was staring at me with it's beady black eye. The leather seats were filled with humans. Some were wearing flowy things right past their knees, decorated with jewels and designs. Others were wearing black things that covered them up, with a piece of fabric at their necks. I took a deep breath. It was time for me to sing. This was it. My whole life, preparing for this. Suddenly, everything went blank. A short while later, I felt myself slowly open my eyes. Well, sort of. I gasped in surprise. I, I was at my childhood place. I gently saw Midnight, my mother, gaze down at me. I had no siblings. It was just me. Me, the kitten that never saw out of our earthy rabbit hole. Midnight stared at me. "Oh, my dear Ivy tendrils wrapping around and around the Soundwaves of music, playing Hope and grace." Midnight sang. She stared upwards, and twisted her shiny black head slightly around, and stared down. What was she looking at? I'd ask myself. I never knew. Well, for awhile. Suddenly, Midnight was flinging earthy black dirt at me. I coughed. A small chunk had landed in my throat. It stung, and I gently closed my eyes. Everything was dark. The damp dirt clung to my fur uncomfortably. I waited. I waited and waited, for her to come back. She did this once a month. I waited, until it was sunrise. She hadn't come back. She never did. I closed my eyes. When I opened them again, I was in the city alley, where I had found Gazpacho. I looked around slowly. I was padding down the streets, staring at the boring grey walls. The sidewalk was crumbling, and there were hardly any humans. The sky was dimming down for the moon's gentle return to the sky. I felt my eyes trying to close. I shook myself. Though, I knew I had to go to sleep soon. I glanced around. There was a comfortable looking box across the street. I looked both ways for beasts, and crossed quickly. I ran like the wind with my black fur swooshing. Ahh! I loved running! I took a quick leap, and landed perfectly in the box. I twisted five times, as my regular routine, and settled down. I started snoring softly, when something shook the box. I opened my eyes. The sky was dark, and there were lights in the distance. then I realized, the box was moving! I hissed and jumped to my paws. I came face to face with a human. His hair was dark and brown. He had deep blue eyes, filled with sorrow, and a short-sleeved shirt with a collar. I stared at him for a moment, and settled down. This man wasn't harmful at all! He just wanted to love me. I closed my eyes, and woke back at the stage. Everyone was staring at me, with their large eyes. I glanced around nervously for my guitar. My neon green, electric guitar was sitting right in front of me. I stepped on it gently, and started to play. bing, a bing bing bing. I took a deep breath. It was time to sing, human style. "Ohhhhhhhhh. I see it in your eyes. You are so surprised, to see me gazing at you. My fur is fluffed up. Your eyes are gazing at me, surprised. Like a bird into flight. Like a squirrel up a tree! Like a gunshot into a deer. Like pain rushing over! I'm surprised that you like me. I'm surprised at my life! If only you could see me now, the neon lights shine bright in the city tonight. The midnight stars gaze down on ME! If only you could see me now, the rabbits splashing at the lake. If only ivy tendrils looped around, and hope came down from an angel. If only spots appeared in my eyes, as a gazed at you. The scars of my childhood are left throughout, when I left the woods. I closed my eyes and sang. Oh the men at the park were in a box, striking the guitar at my face. I learned to dance that day. She stared at me, and I stared at her. She had a pretty face. She had a rose in her hai-IR! I stood silently, gazing at her. My tail swishes. My tail flings. At the rhythm of my guitar. I dance all around the square, hoping you find me one day. I send a bird into flight, a man with blue eyes, gazes, down at me. I FLY. I FLOAT. I FLIT. I FLEET. I KNOW WHAT TO DO!!! I KNOW WHAT MY LIFE IS, WITH YOU!!" I sing. I pant as the crowd starts cheering. I can just feel Midnight smiling at me from wherever she was at. I loved singing the story of my life. My lungs collapsed. "Soundwave, we need a break. So does vocal chord." they said. "Ok." brain replied back. That was something I loved to do. I could actually make parts of my body speak and sing to eachother! That's how I sung like a human, in their language. I collapsed down on a blue, plush kitty bed laid out under me. Humans were stroking me. The cameras were flashing their strange black eyes at me. I glanced around, ignoring all the humans. Then I saw them. There was a black she-cat with green ears, paws, and spots on her tail. She had white dots all over her. She glanced back at me, and swooshed her tail. Next to her were two white cats. One was a male, who was pure white except a grey spot on his tail, who was speaking to the black cat. The other, I recognized. I jumped to my paws. She was glancing at me. She was white, with blue and pink spots on her. Then, she had, a delicate rose in her fur. Akane. "Oh my, it's Akane." I breathed sofly in cat. "My lovely, come back!" I whispered. They were padding slowly towards the exit. I felt a burst of energy. I hopped off the stage, and ran like I was an eagle flying, across the room. Akane. Akane. Akane. I ran, and skidded at the end. They were one step away. "Hello, Akane. I'm, I'm Soundwave, if you remember me." I said slowly. She turned to me, and tackled me down to the ground. I reached my muzzle up to hers. "Yes, I've remembered you every day since we met, dear." Akane said, her voice clear, yet soft like the softest feather. She stepped off. I leaped to my paws. "Who, who are the others?" I asked. Akane giggled. The other two turned to him. The male had soft blue eyes, while the female had blazing tan eyes. The female stepped forward. "Oh, my dear Ivy tendrils wrapping around and around the Soundwaves of music, playing hope and grace." she said. I stared at her. "Are, are you Midnight?" I asked. "Nope! It seems you do recognize it! Good, brother! I'm the ivy tendrils! I used to be called Ivy, but the idiot Greenfoot ruined that, so I changed my name to Neon! This is my mate Frost." she said, with a bouncy, know-it-all voice. I stared at her. "I thought I had no siblings." I said. Emotions were rushing through me like a wild rollercoaster ride. I had a sister! I had Akane! "I thought so too. Then Akane told me about a cat like me named Soundwave. So I came here!" Neon explained. I bounced around and around like crazy. I was SO HAPPY!!!! Humans were starting to walk towards me, after the shock of me bounding away. Neon looked at them, and her expression suddenly changed to fear. "Soundwave, we need to go!" she shrieked. We raced out of their. Never to see that place again.
