My approach is fairly conventional, with Cat sensing when it's touching Beetle, then broadcasting. But this way, it's always Cat who apologizes, even if Beetle is the one who runs into Cat. Thinking about ways to determine who's "at fault" and should apologize. Also, I might have everybody slow down for a bit after a collision.
