This is the story of this cat, Summerwings, explaining this picture: The blood on her fur isn't hers. Her eyes were previously green, but when she was brainwashed by an evil wolf, her eyes glowed red. She was turned on her own mate, Icefur, and was forced to kill him. The moment Icefur passed on to StarClan, she was released from the wolf and her eyes turned green again (even though they are red in the picture). She immediately rushed over to her dead mate's side, but of course by then....it was too late. Summerwings's friend, Stormclaw, found her sobbing by Icefur's side and staring sadly at her bloody claw - which is this picture.
