Read below. If you don't know the current predicament then look at original project. To see a real world plagiarism problem check here... XD haha... its so funny: https://www.businessesgrow.com/2018/07/05/fight-back/
P.S. This is just my point of view. Really you just need to find your view. Ok. Scratch is amazing and we all know that. Buuut there is always gonna be dings and dents. (That applies to life too). First lets look at the definition of plagiarism, "The practice of taking someone else's work or ideas and passing them off as one's own." Whenever you remix a project on Scratch they automatically put at the bottom of your Notes and Credits, "Thanks to ----- for: ------ (Original Project)" So is it even possible to plagiarize someones project(s)? Wait, so -Rezinate- your telling me that plagiarism isn't a thing on Scratch? No. You can still use the backpack method to plagiarize. What I am saying is that Scratch is doing their best to keep this kinda thing from happening. And of course they could automatically put in your Notes and Credits what you backpacked into your project. But don't you think that would be a little too restrictive? Maybe, maybe not. So wheres the balance? Honestly thats up to you to decide for yourself. But for me I think its fine right where its at. Lets move onto my next point. If you dig WAY into it you find that in Scratch's Terms of Use it says "All user-generated content you submit to Scratch is licensed to and through Scratch under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 2.0 license." pretty much it just said that anything you create and/or share on Scratch belongs to Scratch. So whenever you create or share on Scratch know that it belongs to Scratch unless you somehow get licensed or wetnot. Theres the other thing. It also says in Terms of Use "You are responsible for making sure you have the necessary rights, licenses, or permission for any user-generated content you submit to Scratch." In conclusion, be careful what you share, and expect EVERYTHING you share to be copied in some way. So if you don't want what you share on Scratch to be copied, just don't share projects on Scratch. There are plenty of other sites that you can use to share your work. And who knows... maybe i just remixed this project for the views ;) BTW: Crystalline, please dont take this as an argument against you. This is something i've thought about before and im just stating what i beleive. :)
