Hey guys! This is the old prologue and part of chapter one. I hope you enjoy it! Prologue: Two winged cats walked into a castle tower, the blue one limping as she walked on three legs. “Sister, we must do something about this city. It’s been hurt by the war.” said the sunset yellow one, her face hidden by a black cloak and hood. The blue cat, whose black hood was down, nodded. “Yes.” she agreed. “But what?” “The royal siblings of Atlantia will know.” suggested the other cat. “Send our messenger.” “On it.” said the blue one. {Max! Lily! Come here!} At her telepathic call, a wolf-pronghorn-cheetah mix and a gold-brown winged cat entered the room, one flying and one walking. “Yes, princesses?” asked the mix loyally. “Max, we have a job for you.” said the yellow cat. “Anything!” said Max. {We need you to take a message to the royal family of Atlantia. Ask them for help. And take Lily with you, so you don’t get attacked. Lily, you and Max will wait for us there. If we aren’t there within a month and there’s no news, come back.} instructed the blue winged cat. “Yes princesses!” exclaimed the gold-brown winged cat, using her wings to salute. “I’ll make sure Max doesn’t have a scratch on him! Unless he tumbles into thorn bush when he’s running. That, I can’t promise.” The group laughed together before turning serious once more. “Go now. And stay safe.” said the yellow cat, ushering Lily to the window and Max took that cue to run outside and wait for Lily to take off. “Goodbye. I hope to see you within a month.” said Lily, before turning and jumping out the window, her wings catching her and allowing her to glide. {You two can do it. For the sake of FreeSky City.} said the blue cat before she and her sister walked out of the room. Chapter One: “Hey, guys! If everyone’s ready, I think we should start traveling again. But, we can always spare a moment or two.” she called out, addressing her entire family. Princess and Starlight bounded over to her and jumped into the cart. “We’re ready, Mom!” exclaimed Princess. . “Yeah! We’re the first ones ready, Aunt Jipsie!” added in Starlight. Jipsie licked them both on the cheek and jumped into the back with them. “Good job little ones. Now, want to help me get the back ready?” she asked. “Yeah!” exclaimed the two pups and they started rearranging the blankets in the back. As Jipsie watched them, she felt a burst of pride wash over her. Even though she wasn’t Princess’s real mom, or Starlight’s actual aunt, she loved them both fiercely. She felt the cart shake as more members jumped into it. Princess and Starlight curled up together in their corner and started getting comfy for the long ride to come. Moonbeam, Starlight’s mom, lied down next to them and started talking with Flare. Cinder helped Viper up into the cart and they quickly got comfortable. Oak, the healer, jumped up into the cart, with a little bit of help from Shadow Flower, and lied down, rearranging the herbs in her necklace of vines. Udo and Dusk were last and they sat in the back. Jipsie looked around the group with satisfaction, then jumped down from the cart and walked around to the front. She hitched herself up and started padding on. She loved the feeling of the road beneath her feet and was happy to be on their way again.
