You've just brought a green cheeked conure home. They've gotten hungry, thirsty and bored on the way home. Now you have them all to yourself. --CONTROLS-- Press A to see the tricks your parrot knows, S to close them. Press Z to see the phrases your parrot knows, X to close them. Click on your parrot to interact with them. Press N to name your parrot. Press O to pet your parrot. The parrot cannot react due to Scratch logic. (Press P to stop petting) --Walk-through-- Your new parrot has just arrived home. They are hungry, thirsty and bored. You will first be asked what you're going to do with your parrot. It's best to start off with feeding, playing/cuddling with or giving water to your parrot, since they require that. The bars will go down as you help your parrot. Get them to negative, and your parrot will be super happy. Now's the time to name your parrot. Press N, type in the desired name and press enter. After lots of work, let your parrot perch for a while. They'll stay on here for about 20 seconds. You'll notice their hunger, thirst and sadness have gone down by 3. This is good. But boredom has stayed the same, how can you help boredom? The easy but boring way, just play with your parrot. The fun way, teach them a trick or a phrase! Some tricks don't take down boredom. So, you've taught your parrot a trick. That's interesting, though they wont repeat that trick over time. If you teach your parrot the right phrase, they might say that when they do the trick! If you want to see the trick again, tell your parrot to do a trick. Beforehand, it's recommended you press A to see the tricks your parrot knows. Press S to hide them. So, you've taught your parrot a phrase. That's interesting, they'll repeat that very often. Press Z to see the phrases your parrot knows, press X to hide them. Unfortunately, you can't tell your parrot to say something on cue. But some phrases pair with certain tricks, try to find them!
Click the flag a few times. Yeah, I know. You can only choose a conure... And it's still a bit buggy. If you get asked a question without intention, just press enter. (Ex. When you teach your parrot a phrase and then you get asked what trick you want them to do. I'm still working on those kinds of bugs.) Same with your parrot interrupting a question, press enter. (Ex. What will you do with me? [1] Fee- "Hello!") The "Mmmmm!" Is a reference to a blue crowned conure named Avis, who responds with an "Mmmmm!" when his owner asks him if the pink salmon he's eating is good.
