my favorite gym leader is volkner, but out of all of them, i think i'm most likely to be friends with bugsy. he's just so passionate about bugs and he won't care if you're a total kid because he is one himself. (also my favorite johto track is azalea town's theme oºwºo) also yeah azalea town's trees are probably denser and bugsy would probably be on a morning bug hunt, not a morning stroll, but i just like the look of this
