Uh.. Just look in here, I'll paste it in the project when I have time. It was an excruciatingly cold day, but the sun shone in the sky, making the freshly fallen snow look like tiny diamonds on the barren trees. Willow skipped cheerfully along the winding dirt path leading to the cottage. “I’m coming, even if you aren’t ready, little cottage!” she whispered excitedly. But what awaited Willow was a surprise. Debris scattered the grassy garden and the house had shattered into wooden splinters and lumpy bits of stone and clay. She froze there, her heart thumping against her chest, unable to move at the shock. Willow’s bluebell eyes widened to the size of dinner plates as she realised that the beloved place she would come to every holiday was gone. Sorrow filled her heavy heart as she struggled to fight back tears. An endless stream of questions flooded through Willow’s racing mind. She searched through her blurred memories, trying to answer them and find the reason this innocent home was destroyed. Suddenly, through the corner of her eye, Willow saw something move. It could have been the rustle of leaves, or it could have been someone move. Willow turned around to find a pair of haunting green eyes pierce deep holes into her. She paused for a moment, cowering as her lips trembled. “Who…who are you?” she called out. But the eyes had disappeared. “No! Wait! Can you help me?” Willow was desperate but there was no reply. She felt the freezing cold, biting at her fingertips already as if the sun had given up warming her. She heard angry voices in the woods and they were growing louder. Willow grew very alarmed at this and stumbled blindly through the forest, but she couldn’t find her way. Her ragged breaths were the only sound heard in the mysterious silence of the woods as she raced on, desperate to find her home. The bushes tore at her dirty clothes and the stones cut at her feet, but she wouldn’t stop running. Willow’s legs ached, but she wouldn’t stop. Not until she found home. Her mind raced, trying to find the correct route, but the longer she ran, the farther she seemed to be from safety. Willow bit her cracked lips in desperation. Will I ever get home? She thought. Hopefully. And Willow endured although her heartbeat was accelerating, her head was dizzy with worry, her legs could barely continue and fear almost paralyzed her.
I hope you like it! Thanks to Camp Elemental for making this camp, I hope I'm doing the right thing although it's really late.
