Okay, I've wanted to introduce this one for a while. ...A loooooooong while. As you can see, it's two very different Flaaffy conjoined at the tail. This... This is my updated Pokesona. (I've even given them names that aren't just a choppy version of "Jennifer.") This'll take some time to explain, I hope you'll get it. These two are the same Pokemon. ...I mean, duh, they're joined by the tail. But I like to draw them like that to emphasize how much they're polar opposites. Each Flaaffy represents a part of my personality, my thoughts. The one on the left represents everything I'm embarrassed about. She's modest and desperately wants to fit into the crowd. For example, this is the side that read the Hunger Games series, since it was popular. She lets others overpower her easily and make her feel small. However, she tries to have positive opinions, and absolutely adores the aspects of light, beauty, and enigmatic things. This is the part that's shy and quiet around others, even those who wait her table; despite this, she wishes to help everyone she can and please the biggest crowd she can. She looks back at her past and feels sorry for herself. This is the side that breaks down emotionally (though that usually happens internally for me, personally). So naturally, this is the side that's in love. I'm not saying she's in love specifically with anyone - I'm not sure how to explain it. She's just simply...in love. That's the best way I can describe it. This side's name? Guinivere. I got that from what I've heard about my name. "Jennifer" is apparently just a modern form of the name "Guivivere." (And OranGUIN = GUINivere. Get it?) I'm so weird. The other side is the side that represents everything I'm proud of. She's confident and spunky, yet she wants to stand out in the crowd. She does have negative opinions, but she forms these opinions herself. Despite this, she will form her likes and dislikes through her own opinions. This is the side that appreciates the talents and features she was blessed with and puts them to good use. This is the side that's actually funny (though that's rare). She wants others to look up to her (part of this is the part that likes to type in a gramatically correct way), even if she's cocky about it. This is the side that refers to all her friends as "bro," and will gladly brofist them. This is the side that leaves her past behind and tries to reform herself through current experiences. Unfortunately, this is the side that curses. Easy to say that this is the rebelious, procrastinating side. This side's name is Jewel, simply because 1. I do love gems, 2. Many, erm, spunky people are named after gems and positive nouns, and it seemed to suit her, and 3. This was unintentional, but JEwel is parallel to JEnnifer. HEE. But wait! They're conjoined at the tail! What does that represent? Simply my friends... Guilty pleasures, mostly in music. Seems strange, but it seemed like the only part that fit there best. It is a small part, after all. This is the part that loves to sing, and generally likes mainstream songs such as those that are popular at the time or by wildly popular artists (not alternative rock). Speaking of music, and seeing that I give my OC's theme songs, each side has one. Guinivere's theme is "Memories" by Within Temptation, and Jewel's theme is "What I've Overcome" by Fireflight. See? Even their theme songs are polar opposite in aspect. Notice what's playing now. This kind of music is what I'd expect for both of them to enjoy, and even come to agreements about. However, each of them would still prefer to sing different parts. I.E. Only Guinivere would dare sing that high in the bridge. Now take note that these two don't go wandering around like that. It'd take forever to get anywhere. Can you imagine? They'll each want to go opposite directions. So this is how it works. Each side is visible at different times. Whichever one is expressing itself most at a certain time is the one that is visible. They fade in and out, switching often. This is completely painless, let me assure you. However, each side will sometimes split appart when trying to make descisions, and each side is mentally arguing with the other. This is more of a private thing for them, and they don't really like to separate in public. (They're too disgusted with each other to want to be seen conjoined. (Too bad for them - I like to draw them conjoined. XD )) As one being, she's generally called Juelivere, despite which form is showing at the time. Most will call her this, since this is the name she likes to give out, but those who know of her two different forms separating tend to get confused, and try to call her by each different name. Jewel usually shows around family and friends, or while surfing the web. Guinivere usually shows in public, as in walking down the halls, in class, or even in a restaurant. The only time both sides are separated are when they're singing. Now when I say "separated," don't think they're not still conjoined at the tail. Because they still are. They'll never truely be separate beings. They help define my belief that there can't be one side of a coin. Juelivere does represent me, and will perform any actions I will. I'm not saying either one is dominant over the other. They are very equal in my head, and quarrel often. Your brain is now fried, curtousey of me.
