-----------------------------AU INFORMATION---------------------------------- This AU takes place sometime after the events of Darkness of Dragons and The Lost Continent. Hybrids are more common than they are in the books and are looked down upon by most of the tribes due to them believing that all hybrids, especially Nightwing hybrids with animus powers, are either evil or will end up like Darkstalker (This is just a "Filler" reason until I think of a better one. Suggestions for reasons on why Hybrids are looked down upon are suggested, but I'll understand if you decide to not suggest some.) As a result, some of the rulers have put down certain laws preventing Hybrids from being equal to non-hybrids. ------------------LIST OF CURRENT LAWS/OTHER INFO----------------- *Hybrids can't be a King or Queen. *If a dragon in one tribe is caught in another relationship with a dragon from another tribe, either one or both are executed or banished from said kingdoms/tribes. *If one or both of the dragons in a forbidden relationship are royalty, they're stripped of their position before being banished/executed. *Some hybrids have animus enchanted items to disguise themself as normal/pureblooded dragons so they can avoid the anti-hybrid laws. *There's a currently unnamed group of dragons that takes care of the dragonets of parents that are/were in a forbidden relationship if they can't take care of them or were executed before said dragonet(s) could hatch. *The only tribes that aren't against hybrids are Rainwings (Due to Nightwings now living in the forest and hybrids are common there, along with Glory not enforcing any anti-hybrid laws.), Nightwings and most Sandwings due to some of them remembering Queen Sunny before she got assassinated. *Jade Mountain Academy does exist in this AU, and is one of the very few schools in Pyrrhia that is accepting of hybrids (Even though some teachers and students aren't-) *The only canon characters that exist are Sunny (Who was Queen of the Sandwings before being assassinated) Glory (Who might still be the Queen of Rainwings, but who knows-) and Darkstalker/Peacemaker *There are small, multiple rebellions of dragons in certain tribes who are against the anti-hybrid laws (Except for rebellions in the Rainwing kingdom, who are supportive of the laws.). None of them have succeeded in overthrowing the Queens yet. *The leader of the anti-hybrid genocide group is rumored to be a powerful animus hybrid who is usually seen with a necklace around his neck and a hooded cloak to conceal his body and head/face. Many say that he might be a Allwing but no one can conform if this is true. *Many dragons refer to the leader of the anti-hybrid group as "The Lord of Death." or "Death Himself." *Most dragons who live in anti-hybrid tribes will teach their dragonets to be against hybrids, while others will teach them to be accepting of them. *The Plantata tribes are unaware of the hybrid laws, and currently none of them have tried to go to Pyrrhia. *Princesses are expected to marry a Prince of the same species/tribe. *Allwings do exist in this AU, but none have been recorded to be alive or seen. There are many stories and rumors about them, one of them being that there’s one who can walk through the dreams of others and another one who watches over the many continents and lands. *Icewing hybrids are heavily looked down in the Icewing kingdom, especially Nightwing-Icewing hybrids. *The Icewing Queen added a eighth circle for Icewing hybrids, where they’ll be kicked out of the kingdom to fend for themselves. (Ideas for other laws and info are allowed, but note that not all of them will be accepted.)
