Diwali also celebrates the goddess of wealth and prosperity, Lakshmi. My family celebrates it most years. t a j m a h a l Built by emperor Shah Jahan The Taj Mahal is an important temple in India. It's supposed to be the greatest architectural achievement in the whole range of Indo-Islamic architecture. The Taj Mahal is the jewel of Muslim art in India and a universally admired masterpiece. I've actually been there a couple of years ago- It was really cool. h e n n a Henna is a tradition where you dye the skin with patterns, kind of like a temporary tattoo. Henna, also called Mehindi, is used to dye your hands or feet specifically at celebrations or weddings. I got henna done at an Indian wedding and it was pretty but I didn't know you had to let it dry before touching it and it smeared ;n; my arm was dyed red for like a week. c l o t h i n g f a c t s When wearing traditional clothes, Indians often wear colorful elaborate dresses and jewelry. The girl here is wearing a traditional Indian dress called a Sari and a bindi on her forehead. The bindi represents the third eye of spiritual sight, which sees things the physical eyes cannot see~ it's important to a lot of indian culture for woman to wear with traditional clothing. ~~~~~~~ Credits: Art/ Animation- Me Contest- Jeila Music- Some sort of Indian music idk who it's by Information- Mostly just me but some by wikapedia ~~~~~~~ Hooray you read to the end!!!!
