Day 6 Getting Unstuck - playing with Random Walk Click the green flag for 1000 steps of random walk. Press the green flag again to add to drawing. Press the space bar to clear and start over. Run in turbo mode to add to the picture more quickly. At the moment, the color is in shades of green -- feel free to experiment with pen color, ETC!
Having heard of 'random walk,' this Day 6 Getting Unstuck project seemed like just the place to try it out -- with thanks to Daniel Schiffman for his Processing description as well as the 'assignment' he gives at the end of the video. In this posted version the step size and pen shading change together. Already I have changed how this works many times -- currently it is less interactive than it had been, but it made it quicker to explore possibilities!
