Click the buttons to change things. Click the little red/green button to turn the shadow on or off. The Light/Dark button changes the background from pale to bright, but you need to click the Head and Ears buttons a few times until the background changes. You might want to use fullscreen because the icon is small. Feel free to use this to create your profile picture, that is what it's for after all!
