Well, here's the prologue. Just hit the flag and then space. Hope you enjoy! NOTES: ~Both Frisk and Chara are a THEY ~Every time there is an asterisk at the beginning of a statement, someone is talking. ~Flowey will appear sooner than normal, but I had to do that for plot reasons ~Chara is NOT the "villain." They are just another character and not the cause of any genocide committed by anyone else. ~I know Chara doesn't wake up until Frisk falls, but again it was needed for plot reasons ~Chara can fly around the Surface for once more PLOT REASONS I think that's it. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask me. Hope you enjoy!
As King Asgore Dreemurr put the sixth soul into a glass containment, Chara sighed, and flew away from The Capital. Feeling disgusted by her father's methods of freeing the monsters, they were shocked this next human hadn't stopped him. It was pretty ironic, the soul of JUSTICE being unjustified. They had had a pretty smart tactic as well. They had a gun. It had no ammo, but it did make a pretty loud noise when fired. The human had used the gun to scare off monsters so they could pass through easily. They had ammo, but didn’t dare put it in or use it. *They’re all so nice. *It’s different from what I remember. *There has to be someone who can knock some sense into Dad. *He can’t keep doing this. *Killing is wrong. *There has to be another way, even if most of humanity is awful, they thought. As Chara flew through Snowdin, they saw two small skeletons wandering about. They didn’t stop but they heard one say: I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU GET TO BE A SENTRY! I HOPE I GET TO WORK FOR THE ROYAL GUARD SOMEDAY. They smiled as they heard the other say: *one day bro. you’re so cool, it’ll definitely happen, just have to be a bit older. That’s why Chara liked monsters so much. They were so kind and supportive, loving til the end. Unlike humans, who would attack anything that merely seemed a threat, without explanation, and abused those who weren’t good enough. They froze in the air, memories flashing through there eyes. They flinched, but then got rid of the thought. As Chara flew through The Ruins, they grew sadder, seeing Toriel cry over yet another fallen and dead child. *Poor Mom. Finally, they arrived at the flower bed. Their mother came everyday and tended the flowers above their body’s grave. Chara simply flew over and sat on the petals of the golden blooms. They hadn’t noticed, but someone else was in the area, who hadn’t noticed them. Suddenly, a voice said, “*So bored.” Chara turned around only to become disgusted. It was the little flower, daring to call himself Asriel. At least, he used to. Then one day, Asgore had suggested the name Flowey, and Flowey The Flower was born. Chara knew why he was bored. Flowey had been made with no soul, but with Asriel’s dust and determination. *Poor Azzy. This gave him the ability to reset and have this power over the others. He had just been made only a week or two ago. He didn’t like to reset much, but Chara knew the power would get to his head eventually. Having all the power, and no way to feel pity or empathy could easily turn anyone into a megalomaniac. As they turned away, he began to talk to what he thought was himself. *Ugh, Alphys is such a jerk. *The real Azzy would never say such a thing, poser. Chara threatened to him even though he couldn't hear them. He continued whining about what Dr. Alphys had done to him. Every now and then, Chara would feel a stab of guilt. They had failed, causing Azzy to die, when it was only supposed to be them. *I don’t really wanna reset, don’t want that gun firing wacko back here, if it would make them come back, he said with his rude, snotty attitude. *All ‘Doc’ does now is study souls. *Some of her theories are so dumb. *As if just turning a human’s soul upside down would give them magic or something. *They have closed souls. *That’s probably not possible. He paused, a genuine smile appearing and his face changing, looking like an old friend. *Heh, I bet they would try to prove me wrong. *Find a way to become all powerful, probably so they could free all monsters. Flowey sighed. It was strange to see him act as if he could feel pain or sorrow. Chara knew he tried, sometimes just faking it to feel better, but it was almost believable. *I wish Chara were here. They’d know what to do... I miss you, Chara. He said as if knowing they were there. Chara sat there, stunned. They hadn’t expected this. *I miss you too, Azzy, if you’re really there. Suddenly, Flowey snapped back to normal. *Whatever, wonder if there’s anything to do. No one here except… except. Except flowers! And with that, he vanished. Chara lied there, thinking about that theory that Flowey had mentioned. Could that really happen? If a human’s soul could go upside-down, could they use magic? Chara thought back to the history of the war. The barrier was made by seven wizards with different souls. They could imagine all the power. A human is already naturally strong compared to a monster thanks to their “Determination.” That plus monster magic could be pretty crazy. That power might even be close enough to a GOD. The thought of it was both terrifying and interesting. Then suddenly, they got an idea. What if that happened to someone, and they fell down here? That power would definitely stand Asgore. A plan was slowly forming in Chara’s head. What if? They’d have to be someone kind and strong. Smart and patient. Have integrity and be justified. And they’d have to be determined, obviously. But that’s ALL the different soul types. It wouldn’t work. To be continued sorry!Out of room
