When you have enough money, buy more buildings in the store or upgrade your buildings by hovering over the building you want to upgrade and pressing U. Some buildings are clickers, which you have to click to get money, others are automatic, which give you money every second or more, and some buildings are a combination of both. If you see an L next to a number in a label, it means "times level" unless there is an operator. There is another number in the top left corner other than money, and that is your "spread". Your spread is like a multiplier that gets spread out between all your buildings, so the more you have on (you can turn the buildings on and off by pressing space on them), the less each of them gives you.
