A Small Galaxy Test, 5 planets orbit the center at different speeds depending on distance from center, 5 are in fixed positions. i plan to use this for a game, but wanted to try it out and display it first. the stars orbit at a constant rate, regardless of distance from center. a black fade out covers the background for perspective along with a color changing mask for effect.
music is taken from Star Wars: Republic at War mod for Empire at War (i pulled it from the game data folder) other than a few exceptions you can put it in turbo mode to make galactic time accelerate (the things spin faster) Makes for a good galactic map for a space-themed RTS or RPG (possible foundation for a star wars game??).
