Shading: shading with a different colour than just a darkened one. Background: stands out from the characters 4. bad example - Colour: complete saturation and colours straight off the default pallette, some parts are still transparent. Shading: inconsistent light source, just a default darkened. Background: gradients can look nice, but not like that. :P #cc (test! I saw 3.0 removed the tags section, and I wonder if this works! )
