I got the idea for this because his mask looks like a masquerade mask, so I took it and ran with it. In this picture he is dancing with a girl with a cat mask because I liked the cat-bird motif. What is behind them is supposed to be a moon. The quality of this is so bad that I made a deviantart just so I can share a better picture... I was struggling with a a ridiculous problem where his skin looked the same color as his sleeves so I had to add more yellow to them. The paper I was using was starting to get this gross pulpy texture on the skin as well and I didn't want to ruin the drawing by adding more layers, so I wasn't able to get the exact color. -Prince Alistair Quail -Young adult, age range around 18-21 -In addition to the original traits given by @MistCat , Alistair is very reckless and dramatic due to his childhood inside the palace walls. He prefers to deny truths he would rather not accept, and as a dreamer and a "hero" type he would love to go on an adventure, but has not considered the dangers. Even after running away from his royal destiny, he never lost his princely charms and appreciation for fancy things. He tries to be brave but is actually a coward. -Ever since he was a boy he has dreamed of running away. He imagined a ragtag group of thieves and adventurers accepting him into their tight-knit circle, and living a carefree life on the road with nothing to stop him from doing whatever he wants. He never quite got the courage to actually do it until now, though. He is very quickly learning that his idea of running away to freedom was a rosy fantasy compared to the real world.
