She has a hard time around Amethyst, being that she is a Quartz, much like her past owner. She loves playing games with Steven and talks a lot to Garnet and Pearl about Citrine. She loves sleeping and flowers, and her favorite show is 'Crying Breakfast Friends.' Coral is a romantic, and has ships for every show that she watches. She enjoys hanging out with Peridot, who is happy to have another 'Camp Pining Hearts' buddy. She is afraid to interact with humans, having seen them in the Zoo before. She is also very suspicious of Lapis, since she heard stories of her treatment of Peridot. She's cool with Connie and Bismuth, but not quite friends yet. Altogether, Coral pearl is fun-loving, gentle and kind, but jumpy and overly cautious, and can be suspicious. She loves cuddling with Pumpkin. Reason for rebelling: Coral hated her owner. Carnelean became lazy after obtaining Coral, and treats her very poorly, even for a pearl. After Pink Diamond was "shattered," the two were sent to a new colony under Blue Diamond's rule. There, Carnelean showed off Coral to the newly emerged soldiers and used her as an excuse to not do anything for the new colony. Then Coral met a Citrine that had come on the latest shipment of gem soldiers from a finished colony. The two fell in love, but after 1,209 years, Carnelean found out and shattered Citrine right in front of Coral Pearl. Coral left on a stolen Roaming Eye (more commonly known as a 'Ruby ship') and found Earth. She landed on the Moon Base and checked to see if there really were Crystal Gems still on the planet, though the rumors she had heard said otherwise. Lo and behold, the coordinates that a talkative Nephrite has given to find the Crystal Gems' base were correct. Coral landed on Earth and was welcomed warmly, though the whole group was extremely confused by her arrival. They had never had a gem just fly to Earth and ask to rebel with them as a Crystal Gem. But they accepted.
