sorry if this is a little laggy ! i had to unfortunately cut some bits out because this project lagged so much, but it's still a little slow. anyway. HOW I ANIMATE: 1st, i decide how i want the animation to look. this is just in my head. i listen to the music that im animating over and over until i come up with some good ideas. then, i sketch it out! thats the first thing you see in the project. its a basic idea of how i want it to look. next, i do the key frames. i basically just go over the sketches i made. this usually is just lineart, but since this is silhouette style, i did the coloring in this step too. lastly, i do the in-betweens! i basically just draw the frames in the middle of my keyframes to make it look more smooth. now, for some updates! i recently posted a new map part on my YouTube channel, qalaxysnail. check it out! im still trying to post weekly. next project should be a quick little meme i made for the beginning of fall, and after that should be a really cool collab... but i wont spoil it! you'll just have to wait and see ;) -Kate
