The icons (in order) are Eat, Light, Game, Medicine, Bath, Scale, and Discipline. The heart icon shows up when your tamagotchi needs attention. Check the scale icon to see what your tamagotchi needs. The hearts get darker when they're filled in. Meals make your tamagotchi's hungry meter go up, while snacks and games make them happy. To play the game, click the left button to move left and the right button to move right. Collect as many stars as you can. If you feed your tamagotchi too many candies, he'll get sick. When your tamagotchi is sleepy, turn off the light. So far the bath and discipline options don't do anything. Your tamagotchi starts off as a babytchi, then he grows into a teenager (ichigotchi or young mimitchi), then finally an adult (kuchipatchi or memetchi). Have fun!
