NOTE TO SCRATCH TEAM: This game does not feature visual jumpscares, but it does play a lower volume version of the jumpscare SOUND when you lose in game. A and D for Left and Right Doors. Q and E to toggle Door Lights S for the camera. The Blindside update makes cameras much more useful as you can not see things from the edges of the map. You MUST use the camera to see the animatronics now. The Technical Overhaul update made the game almost identical to FNAF 1 code-wise, using a lot of help from a "FNAF 1 Mechanics Explained" video, I made all of the animatronic's movements as accurate as possible to the game, rather than just being on a random timer until they can move. Newer features of the same update include a title screen with multiple preset nights AND a Custom Night creator, featuring a Golden Freddy easter egg as well! Also includes some achievements just for extra fun!
Essentially a top-down port of FNaF 1 into Scratch! So I was watching this video about how the AI works in FNaF and decided to make a Scratch project with the stuff I learned. Victory Confetti by @CelloPlayer12 :D (I actually made a version of this game using flat images like the original FNaF 1 using the exact same engine as this one, go check it out!) https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/876762798/ Blindside Update: Fixed the camera, time, and usage bugs You now win the game at 6:00 instead of 5:00. Some animation fixes for Freddy. Technical Overhaul Update: Spent about 14 hours straight trying to make this game as accurate to FNaF as possible, many thanks to Tech Rules' "Ruining FNaF by Dissecting the Animatronics' AI" video for explaining the exact mechanics of each character in detail for me to accurately replicate them in this project. List of new features: Foxy has an extra stage of movement (Closed Curtain, Peeking Through Curtain, *Standing Outside of Curtain*, Gone) Freddy now laughs when moving Keeping the cameras open will now prevent Foxy and Freddy from moving Chica was changed to behave identically to Bonnie while at the door Animatronics will "level up" throughout the night, becoming more difficult over time (Freddy cannot level up however) Foxy will now run to the door with no sound warning if you don't check CAM 2A for too long after he leaves Pirate Cove Foxy slamming into the door now deals accurate damage to your current Power When you close the camera, opening it again will leave you off on whatever camera you were last looking at Fixed a bug where turning on a light and then switching to any camera would cause the camera to show the Office Made the power outage a tiny bit more survivable Added a MUTE CALL button Added some extra decoration to the map, specifically the floor tiles and walls Bonnie and Chica will no longer return to their stage after their attack cycle is complete, instead returning to the Dining Room like they do in game Fixed a bug where holding down the Camera button would cause the Usage meter to increase extremely quickly and basically cause an instant power outage Added a title screen Added achievements Added a Custom Night Added every other night aside from Night 4 and Night 6, the original nights that were in the game before the update Added phone calls for Nights 1-5 Fixed Freddy not running towards the Nightguard when jumpscaring him like he should Made the Lights TOGGLEABLE rather than automatically turning off after a second. Also made the lights drain power Reduced the length of each hour by 5 seconds, making the total night 30 seconds shorter than the actual game. This is to balance out the difficulty of the later nights, and also because this is a Scratch game and I don't want it to last 9 minutes per night. Added the ability to save and load Achievement data Added a Version number for smaller updates Fixed a mistake where the animatronics would increase in difficulty at 1 AM. This would cause the animatronics to become a higher level by the end of each night than in FNAF 1. Reduced the length of an in-game hour to 80 seconds instead of 85, making each night last 8 minutes instead of 9 Chica and Bonnie play a footstep sound when they approach and leave the door, similar to FNAF HELP WANTED
