Space bar I didn't know what I was going to rename Moon when I originally made this, but since then I've decided upon the name Lunetclauir, which is a twist on the French word for moonlight! But of course since that's long as heck and hard to pronounce, her nickname is Lunette. (And Lady Shadow sometimes calls her "Little Moonlight") The colors (and hair patterns) in the preview designs arent at all official and final, since Im limited by traditional mediums, they'll be more vibrant and may have different shades/hues/tints/whatevers in the actual comic. The actual physical drawing is a lot duller, but I was able to use the photo editing system in my phone gallery (Thanks Motorola!) to brighten the colors (good thing I did, like, Lunette's hair looks so much prettier in the photo) Never was incredibly hard to ink and im never doing lineart in yellow ever again, his linework will be grey or black in the comic because i dont even want to deal with that mess on digital. Song is Love Will Come And Find Me Again from Bandstand Yea, so I really hope I dont abandon this. I plan on actually outlining and scripting the plot (Like I do with North), and I'll use Firealpaca for the art. When rereading the series alot of stuff bothered me and I didnt know how to fix it. Mostly regarding Cobalt. His intentions, his character in general, I hated all of it. Why he went to the Stone, how he went bad, and how the Stone killed him. I didnt know how to fit in his redemption arc either. My original plan was "He was possessed by a demon at the stone" and that same demon was what took over Rikki when he attacked Sir Light. I never really liked that, and I'm definitely doing away with it. Cobalt was a flat mary sue, yet a fan favorite. I think everyone will like the ambitious nerd version of him that I'm planning a lot better. I know a lot of people who read the comic loved Mari, and she wont be changing much at all! (She still goes insane though, sorry Mari stans :P) And, she's going to have a much healthier relationship with Cobalt (I've wasted so much time already coming up with Marduro headcanons) Y'all don't need to worry Lady Shadow/Starri, I love her to pieces and wouldn't dare changing her too much. She'll still be the sassy, mysterious leader of the Shadows that you all know and love. She will, however, play a bigger role in the plot. Sir Light/Tyxi will remain the absolute worst. Rikki is getting a TOTAL makeover. He wont be as useless as before, and a lot deeper of a character. He also won't be a member of the Light Guard, but rather a petty thief. His late father also won't be a member of the guard, and won't be well known (contrasting to the original story where his father was famous for his work as a guard yet Rikki still didnt know his name) Quiala, as I originally planned, will have a lot of character development. She'll start out as basically the Javert of the story Moon/Lunette and Never dont change much (not that it matters since they were never shown in the story) also QuialaXNever isnt endgame anymore since it never really was cute or had any basis and also Quiala is now a lesbian (im hoping y'all like her gf Auril, she's one of my favorite new things about the story!)
