SuperNova Chapter 2: The Build Up Nova and Rose found their tour group, which conveniently included Ocelot, Shard, and their roomates. Ocelot had been paired with a nice, albeit slow, Water Dragon named Tortoise, and Shard had ended up with a peppy Day Dragon named Solar. They followed their tour group leader, Inferno, a Heat Dragon who teaches Self Defense. He was a grumpy dragon, and didn’t really seem to be happy leading the group of dragonets. As they toured the school, Nova learned Shard was a Cold Dragon from Solar, which seemed to annoy said Cold Dragon a bit, but he didn’t say anything about it. But other than that, nothing interesting happened on the tour. They followed Inferno, not really paying attention to the tour. Nova caught a few things, like the Art Room being room 1 in the West Wing, but that info wasn’t very important, since the students all had been given maps of the school. Eventually, they returned to the school’s entrance, where orientation had been held, and the dragonets were allowed to meet their teachers. But of course, most choose to talk to their new friends instead. Nova did meet a few of the other teachers however, but only because some of them had decided to introduce themselves to the students instead of waiting to be approached. There was Chameleon, the hyper Plant Dragon that taught Art, Conch, the kind Water Dragon that taught Literature, and Ore, the ironically funny earth Dragon who taught History. Of course there were other teachers, but not many were trying to approach students, and Nova really didn’t want to approach any teachers and be labeled a teachers’ pet. After about an hour, the students were sent back to their rooms so they could ‘get rest in order to prepare for a day of learning’. Like that was going to happen. Nova and Rose had been planning on staying up super late, but their master plan was ultimately foiled by the fact that the torches were on a timer, which left the two dragonets completely submerged in darkness. Nova did have night vision, but Rose did not, so they decided to go to sleep instead of talking in the dark. Nova curled up on her bed and tossed a blanket over herself, while Rose chose to sleep without one. The Night Dragonet tossed and turned for a bit, not used to her new environment, but eventually, she fell into a peaceful, dreamless sleep. Nova probably would’ve missed several of her classes, seeing as she loved to sleep in, but Rose was an early riser and wouldn’t let this happen again, so she eventually woke up her roomate. “Go away.” “If I do, you might sleep through the entire day.” “Good.” “And miss classes.” “Goo- OH SHOT.” And that’s how Nova got ready for classes in five minutes. Nova and Rose walked together, meeting up with a few of their other friends for mandatory classes, which were mostly things they had already learned. For example, in History, they were once again told about the war, even though they had already learned about it every year, and it was taught in the same, boring way every time. There was tension between the different species of dragons, and on rare occasions, there would be a battle, but they mostly were able to work together. Then, out of the blue, a full scale war happened. No one trusted species other than their own, and hybrids were outlawed. Things eventually started to look very grim, and it seemed like he dragons might go extinct, or come close to it. Then, out of nowhere, angels, which where basically dragons, but without distinct species and who were stronger, came to defeat the demons who had apparently been fuelling the fire of the war to make it get this far, and were the reason the war had started in the first place. These angels were lead by Seraphim, who was the only angel who hung out with the gods, despite technically being under them. Thus, a epic battle ensued between the angels and demons, the fight between Seraphim and the king of demons, whose name was unknown. Unsurprisingly, Seraphim and the angels won, and the demons were driven back to where ever they had come from. And ever since them, there had been peace between the species. Sure, it sounded interesting, but after hearing about it for years, it gets boring. So Nova and Rose were really looking forward to their next class after that snooze fest. Unfortunately, the duo had to split up when Nova had Art next and Rose had Self Defense. However, it turned out Ocelot and Solar were taking Art as well, so Nova wasn’t lonely. Once lunch rolled around, Nova and Rose quickly found Tortoise and Ocelot and soon after, Solar came over, Shard reluctantly following behind him. The group chatted as they ate, and agreed to eat together every day, or at least try to. Once lunch was over, they went to the rest of the classes they had. Once classes had been finished, the students had the rest of the day free to do whatever, especially since they didn’t have any homework on their first day. Nova and Rose chose to chill in -
the gardens and just chat for a bit. Afterwards they participated in a few rounds of a called game Element Bash before dinner, and headed off to their rooms to hang out some more before the lights went out. And that’s how most of the week went. There was the addition of homework and they did different activities after classes, but for the most part, everyone's schedules stayed the same. At least, until Friday, before Nova had Art. She had been walking with Rose, when Solar and Shard came up to the two, Ocelot and Tortoise following behind them. “Hey! We were all thinking about walking together, and wanted to ask you guys if you wanted to join us!” Solar offered. Nova and Rose glanced at each other, finding this a bit weird, but it wasn’t a big deal. “Sure we can do that.” Nova answered nonchalantly, and they started to followed Solar to their classes with Rose Credits: Art - Me (but the background was taken from google Characters and Story - Me Music - Sick Boy Remix (ONEDUO), Venus Ambassador (Bryan Scary & The Shredding Tears), Firestorm (Far Too Loud), The Moss (Cosmo Sheldrake), Oh No (Marina and the Diamonds), Welcome To the World of Pokemon! ' This chapter is a bit shorter than the last one, but the next one will (probably) be pretty long (it might even end up being two parts, who knows) Yes, the heart thing did change, and it will continue to do so.
