Waves splashed against the rocky cliff. The sound echoed around the damp cavern. The silhouette of the moon shone on the water.Waves lapped over it, covering it momentarily. Two orange paws were at the back of the cliff. An orange she-cat gazed down at five little balls of fuzz. They were so cute- No. She couldn't get attached. She was here to dispose of them. They had the ability- The ability to destroy the world! Taking a deep breath, she swiped with her paw. The tiny yellow kit slid off the cliff into the water. A wave overtook it and it was gone without a sound. The she-cat shook her head and whispered, "No." She couldn't do it. Four little kits lay before her. She picked them up by their scruffs. There were Clans nearby. She trotted out. She ran to the first Clan's border. Five cats headed her way. She set the little white kit down by the side of the creek and ran. The next Clan's border, she could see a few cats in the distance. She set the little brown kit down in the shade of a tree. She ran off quickly. She stopped by the open desert land. The patrol was already gone. She slipped towards the group of cats. She dropped the kit. She ran. She ducked behind a cactus and thrust a rock at the tom. "Ouch!" He yelped, turning. "What's a kit doing here?" One kit left. The she-cat carried the silver she-cat towards the shadowy forest. A patrol was whisker-lengths away. She dropped the kit. It mewled. The patrol looked up. She ran. "Good-bye, little kits." She mewed. "And good luck."
