[Notes] "One in three adolescents in the U.S. is a victim of... abuse from a dating partner, a figure that far exceeds rates of other types of youth violence." Toxic relationships hit close to home for me, whether it be my own personal experience or hearing from a friend of mine. They can come from parents, romantic partners, friends, etc..., and they're more common than you think. Abuse doesn't necessarily mean physical violence, but includes emotional manipulation. Sometimes a relationship simply isn't abusive but can be toxic nonetheless. Are they gaslighters? Do they not consider your own needs? Do they feel a need for control in every single situation? Are you truly happy with the people you surround yourself with? *Blue roses are a symbol of all things wanted yet impossible to achieve. [Credits] Stay (Live Piano Version) by Gabrielle Aplin
