Bandit - 5 (in human years) - Male Personality: Confident in his skills (and he has a right to be!) yet cautious and wary of others. Likes: Money (a little greedy), his earring, Whisper. Dislikes: Most everyone - but is VERY loyal if you have won is trust. Backstory: Finch was a carefree prince, heir to the throne of Feledon, the cat kingdom. He had three brothers and lived a very rich life with his mother and father until he was kidnapped and his family was killed - except his father. He escapes his captors - though only after long months of planing and the sacrifice of a friend. He eventually finds his father, who rejects him - torn apart in grief for his mother. He then left, only eating the small portions he could manage to steal. The first thing he stole was a silver earring - he now wears it all the time. His name used to be Finch, but he changed it to Bandit after his mother and brothers died. One day he met a she-cat, when both of them tried to steal a golden crown that was meant for his father. He wanted to steal it for revenge, she for food. After a small skirmish, they decided to work together. They easily stole the crown, and escaped without anyone taking notice. The she-cat's name was Whisper, and - so far - is the only cat he trusts. Whisper and Bandit traveled around the country and were considered the best burglars in the world, stealing for food and sometimes even just for a bit of fun to test their skills. Eventually they came across a dark deserted alleyway and decided to explore. Soon they heard a cat screeching in agony, just a little ways ahead. They rush toward the sound, and find a dying cat, who's once rich robes are torn and stained with blood from a gruesome cut on his belly and a bite on his neck. He has been attacked by bandits, who stole everything from him and gave him his injuries. "Finch?" the dying cat croaks. "D-dad?" Bandit asks hesitantly, sending a nervous look over his shoulder at Whisper. "I-i'm sorry..." Bandit's father groans, "Will you forgive me for pushing you away?" "I-I..." Suddenly, his father gasps in pain, and his breaths grew fast and unsteady, coming in rough heaves of his chest. "I— yes." "Thank you..." his father winces, "I pass my throne to you... as- m-my only heir..." his eyes glazed over and he breathed his last. Bandit buried his face in his father's fur and weeped silently, all his anger at the dead cat beneath him melted away and he stood. "We should bury him." he wiped his eyes with one paw. "Yes." Whisper agreed, "Will you accept the throne?" she asked. "If you will be my queen?" he asked. "Of course." she said, and together, as one, they buried the former king. Afterwards, Bandit vows never to steal again, and becomes king. With his—and his queen's—rule, the kingdom becomes peaceful, and King Bandit lives a long and happy life with his queen, Queen Whisper.
