I've never made a simulator before so I decided to "take a whack at it" (if you know what movie that's from comment below) with a Scratch home page simulator. Enjoy<3 ☆☆☆ Some things to toggle with: ☆ Click the "Scratch" logo button to bring you back to the home page ☆ The "create" "tips" and "about" buttons (to the left of the logo) also work. To see what they do, click on them. To exit the pop up click the "x" ☆ The "explore" tab brings up a new page that looks just like the real thing ☆ Clicking on the magnifying glass brings up a little search bar. You can't type anything into it (yet) ☆ You can "join Scratch" too (no typing yet) ☆ You can also click on the video directly below the "Join scratch" and "Sign in" tabs to see an example of what would happen if you put the block in the thumbnail together.
