DISCLAMER: I'm not trying to force you to believe in what I think and please don't send any hate messages. Dude, you can't stop Scratch 3.0 by making an AY project. The Scratch Team scheduled the update in January 2019. I know that Scratch 3.0 is a bit difficult to animate and etc.. But, we need deal with it. Sometimes, we need to move on with life. Besides, there's plenty of benefits for Scratch 3.0. For example, The trim effect for sounds could be more useful for editing audio. Plus, Scratch 3.0 looks somewhat similar to Scratch Jr. They both have big blocks and the "TRIGGERING" blocks have the same color. This might prove that Scratch 3.0 could also be on mobile. Also, the controls for Scratch 3.0 is more flexible than Scratch 2.0. For sound, you could "echo, robot, and reverse" an sound. This could be helpful for animation and etc.. So, you don't to use other software(s) to make this effects. It could take an while to get used to Scratch 3.0, but I think the Scratch Team is not trying to "ruin" or "destroy" Scratch. There could be more features for Scratch 3.0 in the future. Thank you, and have an nice day. "I think @raimondious or @dietbacon might be able to address (1) and (2). As for (3), although the new paint editor may take some getting used to, since it won't be the same as the 2.0 paint editor, I don't think it's harder to use... personally, I find it easier to use, and I hope most Scratchers will, too. (4) I *think* the sounds in your projects should be mostly unaffected... and you will be able to upload and edit original sounds. If you have more questions, please don't hesitate to ask - @raimondious & @dietbacon will likely be able to give you more specific, detailed answers, but I can definitely try to answer. : )" - @stymphalianbirb* Got any questions?
