This is a working keyboard with plenty of different features to play around with, including being able to control splits and layering and being able to write presets into an internal memory. Press "i" to see instructions (Because I actually ran into a character limit when originally writing them out). Cliff notes version: There are 5 main features besides the keys themselves: Easy interface: You only see what you need to edit the sound fast enough in real-time, the "extra" features are in a command feature that you press "C" on your computer keyboard to access. User presets / internal memory: You can write presets into the keyboard and recall them later on, which makes it easier to access more complex keyboard settings with minimal clicks of a button. Splitting and layering sounds: You can control whether you want a sound to only be in the bottom half of the keyboard, the top half, if you want a sound to be 3/4's, 4/7, or whatever you want. You enter your exact range. Command Feature: You use this to assign splits and whatnot, to initialize the keyboard if needed (This can not be undone), to write in a preset, and to switch between program/combination mode. Program/Combination mode: There are two different modes which decide whether you have 1 sound or 2, and whether you save presets or not. Program mode has only 1 sound and you switch between the instruments, and there are no presets because there isn't a need; Combination mode has all the features: Splits, Presets, 2 sounds, etc. Program mode is simple and combination mode is advance.
Name - DKW - Dravtle's Keyboard Workstation. Turbo Mode Required (Especially for the drummer.), as it will ensure you get the best experience out of the project Comments, Questions are welcome! I'd love to make this project useful to someone else! If there is enough interest about adding a keyboard setting to the initial presets, I will add it. I don't want to be "that guy," I want to be fair and make this a useful project for all. Last thing: Restarting the project does not initialize the keyboard :). ============================================ Change Log: 1.0 - Initial Release 1.0.5 - Added drummer 1.1 - Added coloring to keys when pressed; Combination mode and preset mode; 1.2 - Revamped the drum section 1.3 - More beats 1.4 - 50 Patches in combination ============================================= Common keyboard terms that you may not have heard of: Patch - The overall setting of the keyboard.
