Description: This is a test for importing a large image. The original image size is 4181x1389. Information: This was created by creating a new image in Inkscape (An application available on Linux, Mac and Windows) in the size of the image I wanted to import. This can be done by creating a new image (File > New > Default), then going into Document Properties (File > Document Properties), and setting the size in the Custom size box. In this case, it was 4181x1389. Then I imported the image. This can be done by navigating to File > Import, then selecting the image you want to import, then clicking on Open. You may see a dialog asking "Link or embed image", select embed and click on OK. Afterwards, there are a few input boxes at the top of the screen. Set X and Y to 0, to properly position the image. Save the image (File > Save) and import to Scratch as normal. Q & A: Q: Why do you need another sprite to resize the image? A: If you try to resize the image, since it doesn't fit the stage, Scratch will force it to fit on stage. For example, in this project, without switching to the Resize sprite when resizing, Scratch locks the size to 17% only. Q: How did you do this? A: See the Information section I posted above. Q: Why The Legend of Zelda? A: because it's a nice game.
