Press play to start the game. To change her eye color, press the circle with the color you want, or you could just leave them blue. If you change your mind, click on her eyes to remove the color. You can also add blush and freckles! (The freckles are hard to remove once their on. Just keep clicking around near where they are and you'll get them off eventually!) To add a hairstyle, click on it. You can change the hair color by clicking on one of the circles at the top of the screen. Again, click to remove the hair if you change your mind, or just don't want hair. To change her dress, shoes and apron, press one of the colored circles. The orange one changes her dress, the green, her shoes, and the blue, her apron. Shoes and aprons are optional, so if you don't want them, click on the circle until it disappears. click the circle one more time, and the item will reappear! Now you can add some extras. You can give your pioneer girl things like a bonnet, a straw hat, a journal and a basket! You can also press the buttons in the top right corner to add apples or flowers to the basket! The light blue button resets it if you just want an empty basket. Once your done, click show!
Most of the dresses are historically accurate, and so are all the hairstyles. Adding extras was my brothers idea. This game was inspired partly by the little house on the prairie books and Laura Ingalls Wilder.
