i'm not trying to advertise these markers by any case, but i would recommend them if someone asked. i know i'm gonna get a hundred comments saying "COPICS EXPENSIVE", and it's perfectly fine if you can't afford them, but a lot of the "alternatives" i see such as prismacolor, artist's loft, or winsor and newton really aren't cheaper than you can find copic ciao on amazon. despite some people thinking they cost around $8 per marker, if you shop on otakufuel or blick for individual markers they're around $3 for the ciao version, so if you can afford prismacolor markers you probably can just go with the industry standard there. remember. copic ciao are around the same price as most of the alternatives you hear about. look for individual ones on otakufuel or blick, and sets on amazon. the copic sketch is slightly more expensive, the ciao will do for most people and are the same quality, just with slightly less ink. and there are refills so it doesn't matter that much.
