Press [SPACE] - A series of moments frozen in time, depicting moments of an age that the world has since passed by. AKA... some random low-quality screenshots from snipping tool :P - I still remember that moment over four years ago when a curious fifth grader with some free time opened his home laptop and went to scratch.mit.edu. I still remember my first experiences, my failed attempts before I could put together a working game, my failed attempts before I even figured out how to put the blocks together. I still remember the feeling of watching my accounts grow and thrive, the joy of being curated for the first time, the feeling of accomplishment as my projects became more and more complex and reached a wider audience as time moved on. Goodbye, Scratch 2.0. In my four years here, you've given me more happy memories than I could ever have asked for. Even as your age wanes, even as I look forwards to all the new features and possibilities offered by 3.0, even as the future moves towards me and becomes the present of tomorrow, you'll always hold a special place in my heart. With this last project shared in this version of Scratch I have known for so long, I bid you farewell... - Yes, I've spent a lot of time telling people to look forwards to 3.0 in the Beta forum. Doesn't mean I can't be nostalgic about 2.0. - And a little note for 3.0. I'm still waiting for those custom reporters.
