I'll be working on something else for a while, so I made a CC to keep the few people who care occupied >///< Deadline is September 1st. +~RULES~+ =Color the thing. Duh. =PUT SOME ACTUAL EFFORT INTO YOUR ENTRY. Seriously, how hard is it to click the paintbrush icon and spiff it up a little? =You may use other programs, but all effects must be drawn yourself, meaning you can't just go to pixlr express and put on a filter to make it look pretty. =Remix this project, not another entry. =It's okay if you change the song, as long as it still fits. =Lineart changes are fine, as long as the lineart is sill recognizable. It's also okay if you want to redraw it in the same pose for your entry. =Play Ghost Trick. +~TIPS~+ (Long, but helpful!) =Backstories. If you know me/know my favorite character, you'll know that I'm a sucker for creative, tragic backstories. But don't make it something really cliche like "ZOMG theyr parints r ded!!!!!!1!!11 Itz so sayd!!!11!1" or "Dey wur banshid frum theyr clayn fur sumthing they didunt do!!!1!" because it's too cliche for anyone to care. Cliches are stupid. /Cliche rant =Animate. Longer is better- blink cycles take about 5 minutes and aren't going to earn you many points. =Don't add text to your entry, and if you really feel you have to, do it tactfully! Text done wrong not only makes the entry look sloppy, but it draws attention away from your beautiful art! =Fandoms. Some fandoms are awesome and nerdy. Some are close to my heart. Others... are really easy to get sick of. If you don't want to use an OC or a random design you make up on the spot, choose your fandoms wisely. (*coughcough*noWarriors*coughcough*) (coughisareallyweirdword) =Probably the most important tip I have is to be creative. For judging, I'll probably just pick the entries that stand out the most. Whether you have an OC with a really cool design, neat composition, some writing to go with your entry (someone did that in my last CC and it physically pained me not to put them in the results), or even just an awesome geeky reference, creativity will greatly increase your chance of winning.
