Whelp, summer is over now, I'm back in school, and it's time for another art dump. I'm sorry for not posting much on my main account during August. There were things I started, but I haven't finished them yet. I did do I decent amount of traditional art, though, so hey, here's this. --------- 1. Some doodles of my character, Maurice. I've been trying to get better at drawing expressions while keeping character faces recognizable. There's some failed attempts, but I think I'm making progress. 2. I love Maurice's expression here. Also, there's some lil' pokemon doodles. 3. Backgrounds filled with loosely drawn plants are very relaxing for me, since they don't require many precise details. That, plus I just love forested areas in general. 4. Drawing forests with references is also good. 5. Forever unfinished drawings of Saitama and Genos from "One Punch Man" holding sandwiches, and some bird sketches I don't really like. 6. Donkey sketches... 7...and donkey skulls 8. A young girl with eggs 9. I started watching "Pokemon: Sun and Moon" and rowlet is adorable. 10. Eeveelutions 11. I was bored and drew @pandadd2's green hooded character one day. Check them out, they're a cool person. 12. Eyes are very useful when it comes to communicating emotion. Something as subtle as a single line or the size of the pupils can change how the viewer interprets an expression. This was an experiment to see how many different expressions I could make with just the eyes alone, and I think I could probably make even more if I tried. 13. I wanted to draw, but was too lazy to go up stairs and get my sketchbook, so here's some paper towel doodles. 14. Doodles of my character, Evren, and my cat. 15. Bird sketches. At least one of them is a warbler, the bottom one is a kinglet, and I forget what the last one is. 16. I also started watching "Yu Yu Hakusho", so here's some Yusuke doodles. 17. More "Yu Yu Hakusho" sketches, this time of Kurama and Kuwabara. There's also a bit of an attempt at Botan, but I messed that up, so I cropped that out. 18. Oh no, the birds....they've invaded this page! 19. Another Maurice page. I like how the page looks overall, but the faces are slightly inaccurate and I don't know how to feel about them. 20. Oh wow, it's the return of Sonic. 21. This page has been invaded by rat sketches. 22. Doodles of my character, Adilet, and some other things. 23. It was National Dog Day recently, so this page has been invaded by doggo sketches. 24. I chose to sketch some of the people around me on the first day of school. 25. Some handy-dandy hand sketches done during school 26. A page of random doodles from during school 27. Kookaburra and owl skull sketches 28. I decided to use my acrylic paints one day for the fun of it. I only have three colours— cyan, magenta, and yellow ochre— plus white, but I still enjoyed painting. 29. I was working in my largest sketchbook, so here's the second half of the page. Bonsai trees are cool. --------- Some things drawn in this project are from/owned by the following: - - Pokemon - "One Punch Man" - "Yu Yu Hakusho" - Sonic the Hedgehog - There's an attempt a drawing Russian Winnie the Pooh (or Винни-Пух) and Eeyore from memory on slide 26, but both attempts were slightly inaccurate. The music is "Weird Woods" from Kirby's Epic Yarn.
