Artwork, really don't need any instructions. Backstory: Shadowfire was born into a normal clan, and had a normal kit hood. He became a warrior, and then his life changed forever. A mysterious loner, who called himself Mar, joined his clan. Everyone loved him, and he even rose to the position of deputy. Shadowfire thought there was something dark about this cat. He talked about it to his mate, Riverwind, and she believed him. But they couldn't do anything about it. One night, Shadowfire had a dream. He was in a dark, damp place that smelled of death. He knew that he was in the Place Of No Stars, the Dark Forest. He saw Mar, at the edge of a pit, looking down. Shadowfire immediately felt his fur bristle as he saw it. He knew that something dark lived within that hole. Mar spoke to the hole. "I am doing well, my master. I have become deputy." he said. "That is not enough." the being in the pit said. "How can I become leader? Currently Finchstar has 8 lives. How can I get rid of all of them?" Mar asked. A bottle of black liquid shot out of the pit. Mar caught it. "What is this?" he said. "It is my blood. Slip this into his morning squirrel and he will die." "Clever, my master." he said. "Then nothing will stand in our way." Mar laughed. Shadowfire immediately knew that he needed to stop Mar. But how? In the morning, Shadowfire told Riverwind about the dream. "We have to stop this!" Riverwind exclaimed after Shadowfire told her about Mar's plans to kill their leader. "Don't do anything rash." Shadowfire replied. "Don't worry, I won't." she said. "But we need to save Finchstar!" "I understand. It's too late for Finchstar, but maybe we can save the rest of the clan from Mar's influence." So Shadowfire and Riverwind began forming a group of cats to overthrow Mar and make Shadowfire their leader. But one cat betrayed them, and told Mar of their plans. He called Shadowfire and Riverwind up underneath the rock. In the sight of the clan and Shadowfire, he slashed his claws across her throat. She died instantly. "NO!!!" Shadowfire cried. "This is what we do to traitors. If you don't want to share the fate of this stupid she-cat, come forward and declare your loyalty to me." Mar said. Everyone walked up to him, except Shadowfire. "Why aren't you coming to me? Or do you want to die like your mate?" "You can't control me, Mar. You're not my leader." Shadowfire said, then he left. Moons have passed since Riverwind joined the stars, and still Shadowfire is haunted by his past. But that is not what he calls himself anymore. He swore on his mate's dead body to hunt all of the darkness that walked this world. And with his new purpose, he took a new name, Chasing Darkness.
Song: I wanted to add a song but it had some bad language and I didn't want to have to take too much time to find a clean version Artwork made in Adobe Photoshop. I might use this OC for some other thing, I don't know what yet. The artwork isn't very good, it's the story that counts.
