Use arrow keys to move and space to shoot. Q for quickstart. Story: There is unrest in the galaxy. Three worlds have teamed up in order to conquer Earth and its lush resources: Hellia, a fiery world where lava, a crude energy source, is the only means of fuel and energy, Kyrotopia, a dystopian world of round the clock winter, making it hard to grow and harvest crops, and Guardius, a planet just like earth whose inhabitants have their sights set on conquering the universe. Though Guardius is supplying Hellia and Kyrotopia with the weapons and transportation that they need to fight, it is also secretly planning on how to take over all three worlds. Meanwhile, Earth has set up colonies on its Moon and Mars, as well as several other faraway planets. The last thing Earth expected was an alien invasion, but as it turns out, that might be what you get. In less than a year, all of Earth's colonies but those on the Moon and Mars have been conquered by the aliens. Now, as the aliens prepare to launch their final assault on Earth and its remaining colonies, Earth's own military mobilizes its forces for what may be the last time. Thanks to the work of master codebreakers, the enemy attack plan has been revealed. The Hellians will come in first, attacking with their light fighters, backed up by the Guardians' gunships. The Hellian flagship will not be far behind. Once it is destroyed, the Hellian fighters will no longer be a problem. The Kyrotopians are next, but beware, as their fighters are more powerful than that of the Hellians. Once the Kyrotopian flagship has been defeated, the fighters will fall into chaos and abort their attack. The Guardians will be bringing up the rear, with their elite pilots and deadly gunships, not to mention their dreadnought. In advance to the attack, the Moon colonies have deployed their MK479 Ultimatum shield generator. It will temporarily keep the enemy ships at bay, but a strike team needs to take out the aliens before they can work their way around the shield. The moment of truth has arrived. The best of the best have been sent in enemy, but to no avail. Enemy defenses seem impenetrable. With the shield taking heavy damage as we speak (or read, rather), it's up to you, a lone fighter lost amidst the chaos of the battle, to bring about the end of the battle for once and for all, before it brings about the end of us. If you've read the whole thing, then I don't know what to say (or type).
