This is an abstract art representation of the properties of life. The circle represents a living organism. At the start, the circle grows, to represent the first property, growth. Then the circle splits in two to show the second property, reproduction. You may notice that the circle changes color as it splits. This is to show the change in temperature it experiences from changing in size. As the two circles move farther from each other, they return to their original temperature, to show the third property, homeostasis. Then a large black rectangle descends from the top of the screen, and the circles move away from it. The black represents an external stimuli that requires the circles to move, to show the fourth property, response to external stimuli. Finally, the two circles move back together and re-merge, to show the circles consuming each other and using the energy gained from consumption to return to their original size as one circle. Then, the change in size again causes the temperature to change and homeostasis is used once again to return the circle to its original temperature.
