Record to have a waveform generated on the project. Then you can overwrite it (by restarting the project), or save it. You can even, if you want, load any waveform you save! Please press Allow to have your waveform be more than just a straight line. If you're into straight line waveforms, power to you. However, for the rest of us, pressing Allow is recommended.
NOTE: When loading waveforms, the colors may not be the same. NOTE: If you stop/restart the project while saving, the data will be corrupt and the project will promptly ignore it. If you force it to not ignore it (either by modifying the code, or utilizing some arbitary security flaw), only part of the picture will be readable.
